Matarangi Camp

A “utility'“ camp at Matarangi Beach, Coromandel, this selection of buildings replicates camping but with a little more stability, durability and comfort. Centred around a larger basecamp building are three separate bedrooms. These are all individual units that act as ‘tents’ for sleeping. The main basecamp unit consists of two bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining. All are connected by timber decks. The basecamp interior is clad in hoop pine plywood and a polished concrete floor. The kitchen is black steel IMO kxn kitchen and the living and dining areas contain retro furniture and lighting to give it a laid back NZ bach feel.
